| Skill Details: | Here’s a clear, beginner-friendly skills description you can use: **Beginner Skills Needed – ByAnnie Class** This class is designed for confident beginners who are comfortable with basic sewing. Students should know how to operate their sewing machine, sew a consistent seam allowance, and follow simple pattern instructions. Experience with cutting fabric using a rotary cutter and basic quilting techniques (like layering and straight-line stitching) is helpful but not required. New techniques—such as working with Soft and Stable, installing zippers, and binding—will be taught step-by-step during class. |

| Requirements: | Students must pick up their class kit prior to the first session. Please have your Soft and Stable quilted before class so you’re ready to begin assembling your project right away. Sewing machine — we suggest using a ¼” foot, walking foot, and edge stitch foot Rotary cutter, mat, and quilter’s ruler — we used 6” x 24” and 12½” square rulers for this project Scissors and thread snips Pins — we prefer yellow-topped quilting pins Wonder Clips — great alternative to pins for holding pieces in place. Chalk markers or mechanical pencil in white, blue, or silver are simple to use and make a very visible, yet easy-to-remove, line — always test on fabric first ByAnnie’s Stiletto and Pressing Tool — holds pieces in place as you sew and presses seams Hand sewing needle — to close bottom seam Thread — to match fabrics |
